Part of an art installation outside of the University of Sunderland, on the banks of the river Wear.

Headlong
Holga, expired medium format Kodak Vericolour film, triple exposure.
I set myself a challenge to shoot an entire 120 film on my way to work - didn't quite make it this morning, but got up to frame #9 and shot an extra three at lunch.

White
Graffiti on a door near St. Thomas' street in Newcastle. Graffiti always seems to come out well on the espion - it likes even exposures with clear shapes and colours.

Past its Sell by Date
I shot this holga roll before Christmas - this was a particularly horrific dancing - gyrating - groin swivelling Santa outside a shop near the Greenmarket in Newcastle.
35mm film in a modified holga.

Construction
The Playhouse theatre, which adjoins the campus of the University of Newcastle. It was previously the venue for many independent and smaller scale productions and the odd comedy festival, but it has been closed for extensive renovations for a long time. The work looks to be progressing well, though, and it might reopen soon.

Coffee
Near the Cluny again. Apart from the smallish blackboard, there's nothing else to identify this as a café and it didn't seem to be very busy when I passed.

Cement Mixer
Lots of building work going on at the Newcastle University campus. It's the reconstruction of the Playhouse Theatre, I think.

Laing Art Gallery
After today's mini-flickrmeet in the Cluny, a group of us went to have a look at the exhibition of portrait photography at the Laing.
My favourites were two photographs of Lucien Freud, one with David Hockney and one with Andrew Parker-Bowles. In both he appeared to be about to enter the room, instantly and obviously the subject of the photograph even though - in both cases - his subjects were more centrally placed.

Swans
At Saltwell Park in Gateshead. I have the internet back at home now, so updates should be more regular soon, when I'm over the flu :(
