Church of St. Thomas the Martyr
Barras Bridge, Newcastle, near the University. From this site: The church of St. Thomas the Martyr, Barras Bridge was consecrated in 1830. This 'Peculiar' in the City Centre was designed by the architect John Dobson and built by the Trustees of Saint Mary Magdalene and Holy Jesus Hospitals to replace a medieaval chapel by the Tyne. Until recently the 'Master' was chaplain to these hospitals: now he is the Anglican Chaplain to the University.

Great Food
A pub sign in Northumberland. Although I didn't get to find out what was on the menu, scampi and chips is always a good bet.

Beyond Restoration
One of the outer buildings near the Long Walk at Gibside - unfortunately in too poor a state to be restored to use, it's fenced off from visitors.
Update on the 'spam blog' situation: I had an email from Blogger yesterday to say this blog had been whitelisted. Thanks to them for dealing with it so quickly.

Shadows
Looking for squirrels at Gibside (we found a couple but they were too quick to be caught on camera!)

Viaduct
Apparently, this blog is held in such high regard by Blogger that they have flagged it as a likely spam blog. This means I have to 'prove I'm human' every time I make a post. Flattering, eh?

RPV
The back of a strange gokart / buggy thing that looked like a cross between a lawnmower and a tricycle. It goes by the name Rural Pursuit Vehicle. The animals are scared.

Water Meadow
More from Gibside, where there was a crocus or two in evidence, despite it being November.

Double exposure of a half removed poster and a sports car parked on Vine Lane, Newcastle. Ilford XP2 medium format film on a Holga.

Pink Chairs
Yesterday lunchtime Flickr meeting, down at Newcastle's Quayside, culminated in a bizarre race across the millennium bridge on these pink office chairs. Good fun. I have some holga shots, no idea whether they will come out though.

Gas Markers
Not entirely sure what they're for, but I'm guessing that they show the position of gas mains.

Quaylink
One of the Quaylink buses that travels between Newcastle's Quayside and the rest of the city.

Moved
Ouseburn - a very faded sign on the side of a building notifying people that the previous occupants have moved.

Argon Grille
Thought I'd got close enough in to capture the writing on the little sign at the bottom centre of the frame here, but sadly not. It warned that the grille was a vent for Argon gas, or something like that.

Scrapyard Tank
Yes, that is a real tank (but I couldn't get any closer to it, unfortunately!) I think it's pointed at Sunderland.
